Fight Club was a novel originally written by chuck palahniuk which then later got bought by FOX in 1997 for 10 thousand dollars to be directed by David Fincher, although the film didn’t originally perform well at the box office, but then gained cult status with the help of dvd sales and the turn of the 21st century being on the horizon. Fight Club was written as an attack on publishers for not originally publishing Palanuicks first book Invisible Monsters , according to Palanuicks he wrote fight club to disturb his publisher even more for not accepting his first novebut they ended up loving it (Sarah Tomlinson).
